Xiu Faja is a pre-made herbal poltice, made with organic cotton linen sprinkled with organic Warm the Rains herbs and salts or organic Cool the Winds herbs and salts, and then rolled with cellophane and tied to keep the herbs safe.  To use, simply roll out the Xiu Faja and place on area of tension or discomfort, or on back or abdomen.  The herbs will not be directly on skin, but cocooned in the Faja.  For best results, place a warm to hot moist towel on top of the Xiu Faja, cover with the cellophane, and top with a hot pack.  For long-lasing, reusable Fajas, eliminate the moist towel, and just cover with hot packs.  Rest for 10-30 minutes with the Xiu Faja.  Heal.

Mayan Herbal Formulas

Self-Care uses:

Healing Herbal Bath
Tie a tablespoon of herbs in a sheer fabric, toss into bath wather, add a teaspoon of salts.  Soak.  Heal.

Healing Herbal Poultice
Sprinkle herbs and salts directly on skin, or onto a sheer fabric, folded, and applied to skin for easier clean-up.  Top with a warm to hot moist towel.  Cover with cellophane and add hot packs (or another towel to keep moisture and warmth in).  Rest for 10 to 30 minutes with the poultice.

Healing Herbal Candle
Sprinkle a little of the herbs onto a candle.  Light.  Infuse the room with healing.  Great for added healing with poultice or bath.

Healing Herbal Tea
Add a teaspoon to a pint (tablespoon to a quart) of boiling water.  Boil for five mintues.  Cool.  Sweeten to taste.  Enjoy.  Refrigerate and enjoy as an ice tea.
